How can I manage my push notifications?

To adjust your push notifications settings, it's important to make sure your preferences are reflected both in the Lex app and in your device's notifications settings for Lex. Please be aware that muting notifications through Lex only means you are muting push notifications for things like group chats, messages from Lex, and other settings. You will still see indications of new messages in the app.

Device settings

To receive/remove notifications from Lex, visit your phone’s settings, find the notifications tab, and tap Lex to adjust your settings to your preferences.

If you can't find Lex on the list for some reason, follow the below instructions to access your notification settings in the Lex app and toggle them off and on to reset things. Lex should then appear in your device's settings once again.

To choose what content you’d like to see push notifications for:

1. Tap the smiley face in the bottom right corner of the screen to visit your profile
2. Tap the gear icon to open your settings
3. Toggle on or off the push notifications you want to receive in the “Notifications” section

To mute group chat notifications, swipe left to right on a chat in your groups in box and select 'mute'.
